To connect to your Hosting Chilli account via FTP, you’ll need your cPanel username and password. These credentials can be found in:
- Your Welcome Email
- Your Client Area
- Or by contacting our Support Team
FTP Connection Details
Host Name:
You can use any of the following:
- example.com – your domain name
- ftp.example.com – the default FTP subdomain
- Your server’s IP address (found in your cPanel or Welcome Email)
Note: If your domain isn’t yet pointing to our servers or DNS has just been updated, use the server IP or server hostname to avoid connection issues.
Username:
This will be your cPanel username.
Password:
Use the same password you use to log in to cPanel.
Port:
Use port 21 for standard FTP connections.
