When will my domain start working? Print

It typically takes 24–48 hours for a new domain or DNS change to fully replicate (propagate) across all name servers worldwide. However, the exact time it takes for you to see the changes depends on your internet service provider (ISP).

Some people may see the update within minutes. Others — even in the same city — may need to wait up to 48 hours or more.

Why the Delay?

Each ISP updates its DNS cache at different intervals. Some are very quick, while others may take much longer. In rare cases, DNS updates may take up to a week or more to reflect fully for all users.

Tip: If you're still not seeing your site after 48 hours, try clearing your browser cache or using a different device/network to test.
