Moving from one cPanel host to another is straightforward with the right steps:
To Backup Your Website on the Current Host:
- Log in to cPanel on your current hosting provider.
- Go to Files > Backup or Backup Wizard.
- Under Full Backup, click Download a Full Account Backup.
- Choose Home Directory and click Generate Backup.
- Once ready, download the backup file to your computer.
You can also use FTP or File Manager to manually download files and use phpMyAdmin to export databases.
To Restore on the New Host (Hosting Chilli):
- Log in to your Hosting Chilli cPanel (you'll get login details in your welcome email).
- Go to Files > Backup.
- Under Restore a Home Directory Backup, upload your backup file.
- Use phpMyAdmin to import your MySQL databases (if you backed them up separately).
- Recreate your email accounts and cron jobs if needed.
