Register or Transfer a Domain Name

What is a domain name?

A domain name is your website name. It is an address where Internet users can access your website. For example, "google.com" is a domain name.

The process of owning a domain name is called "registering a domain name".

How to register a domain name?

The first step of registering a domain name is finding an appropriate name that matches your business or whatever purpose the website is for. If it's a personal website the domain name can be your name, "johndoe.com" for example.

After choosing the right name, you will have to make sure this domain is available, as there might be someone who has already registered that name. To search for a domain name it's very simple, just use the domain search form we have provided above.

If you find the domain name is available, our website guides you step by step into completing the process.

How to transfer a domain name?

If you own the domain name and would like to transfer it. Just enter that domain in the box above and click on the "transfer" button. You will be redirected to a page that will ask you for the "EPP code".

An EPP code is a long string of characters that you will need to provide so we could make the transfer from your old registrar. Getting this code varies depending on the registrar you currently use, but you can typically unlock your domain from the "Domain section" of your domain control panel. Or just contact your current registrar for assistance.

Note: You cannot transfer your domain if it was created or transferred within the last 60 days.
